Studiare Matematica, Economia, Scienze ... in lingua inglese

Nella scuole europee più avanzate, ed anche in alcune scuole speciali italiane, è ormai tradizione svolgere alcuni insegnamenti, o parti di insegnamento, non nella lingua nazionale, ma in una lingua straniera che si sta studiando, l’inglese innanzitutto.... noi abbiamo sperimentato con successo una soluzione che prevede che alcune unità didattiche di alcune discipline (per ora non l’intero corso) vengano sviluppate nelle classi direttamente in inglese.

Sono principalmente unità didattiche di discipline scientifiche (nel biennio) o di geografia, letteratura o storia dell’arte o storia nel triennio ....

.... abbiamo realizzato, costruendo una apposita Rete delle scuole della Lombardia, un accordo con alcune Università inglesi, tedesche e soprattutto, statunitensi, in accordo con il Consolato Generale di Boston.

Sulla base di questo accordo, che vede coinvolte Università prestigiose come Harvard ed il Boston College, le scuole lombarde aderenti alla rete, a cominciare dal Pacioli, che ne è il coordinatore, ospitano studenti laureandi, o neo laureati in master, inviati in Italia in tirocinio formativo.

Sono questi tirocinanti che, in qualità di assistenti, entrano nelle classi, ovviamente affiancati dall’insegnante titolare, per svolgervi alcune unità didattiche precedentemente concordate....

E' un primo passo nella direzione della costruzione di un vero Liceo Europeo. (estratto dalla Carta del Servizi)
